Poetry of dance

The mirror is not you.
The mirror is you looking at yourself.
George Balanchine
Lights are on...music ready.
Everyone looking to the stage, waiting for
the dancer performs.
How can i forget, my 1st time on the stage..scaring
& frightening runs out in my heart.
.but suddenly I saw an angle. She told me no
need to be scare!
I'm agree, I step to the stage & facing
my pretty emotion,
my point shoes keep on shining.
Not scaring anymore for me but just left charming
& gracefully I can dance
thats me! a dancer who share her life with
the stage...

How beautiful this dancer danced, Graceful,
lovely, turning, moving.
Her passion fired up, she glanced, Where was
her muze, the one thing..
The only person close to her, A dancer, whom
she loved with all...
It could of course not last forever, He couldn't
see she loved him, her hart made a fall.....
She could never speak her mind, she movedand
he was glancing.....
And that one person couldn't find, Her expression
in her dancing......
My dear dancing friend you didn't see, I can't
speak out how I feel.......
I have to show my dance, that's me, now my
body and hart need time to heel........
Now I know it wasn't my fault, you were blind.
SEE NOT HOW SHE MOVES BUT WHY SHE MOVES YOU!!!!

The light from our feet shows the meaning of
our hearts.
Open your eyes and look ahead
because we dance for the dead

everything is beauty in ballet
Albert Einstein
We dance for laughter - we dance for
tears,
we dance for madness - we dance for
fears,
we dance for hopes - we dance for screams,
we are the dancers - we create the dreams.

The spotlight brightens - the music begins,
I'm up on my toes-as I twirl and spin
I jump and I leap from one side to another
feeling just the music never any other.
I raise up in pointe then down in plie performing
what i've practiced
for so long every day.
To dance is my dream, I can't let it die
for when I do dance I feel I can fly
The world can disapear my troubles can cease
for just one moment I am truly at peace.
